Ready to homeschool Fifth Grade math? My goal is to help you learn to use the free, high-quality, downloadable MEP Math curriculum to homeschool your fifth grader.
What Will Your Student Learn in Fifth Grade? Your student will be continuing to improve on their math skills learning to work with decimals up to the thousandths, covert fractions into decimals and percentages, as well as multiply fractions by whole numbers. They’ll also dive deeper into working with measurements and angles including using both the SI and Imperial units of measurement as well as working with angles, shapes, and lines. Basic statistics are also covered including calculating mean, median, mode, and range for a set of numbers and understanding probabilities as fractions and percentages.
